5 Best Reasons To buy iPhone 13 Right Now

Purchasing an iPhone 13, mini, Pro, or Max is a good idea for at least five reasons. Here are our top reasons to buy one of Apple's new iPhone 13 smartphones.

The top reasons for buying one are listed below.

  • Improved Camera

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini now feature a larger widescreen camera sensor, present in the iPhone 12 Pro Max last year. Accordingly, it would be possible to achieve significantly better picture quality in low light conditions since the camera would capture 47 percent more light.

Its specifications are similar to last year's model, but Apple claims it has been revised as well. Among other things, the new A15 chip also improves image processing.

Apple has introduced a new cinematic recording mode. This software records in Dolby HDR and features an automatic (or manual) rack focus mode, which allows you to change the focus after it has been recorded.

The new Photographic Styles feature lets you choose and customize one of four different styles applied during image processing instead of using a post-processing filter.

There are even more improvements in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. The new telephoto camera has a 3x optical zoom (77mm) and supports Night Mode. According to Apple, the Ultra-Wide camera features an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, improving performance in low-light conditions by 92%.

The wide-angle 12MP camera has an even larger f/1.5 aperture, which Apple claims improve low light performance by 2.2-fold. The new ultra-wide-angle lens has a focusing distance of up to 2 cm, enabling significantly better macro photography.

Furthermore, Apple will introduce ProRes recording on the iPhone 13 Pro later this year, thanks to the new hardware-accelerated encoding functionality of the A15 Bionic chip. Video can be recorded in ProRes at a frame rate of 30 fps.

  • Displays with more excellent brightness and 120 Hertz in the Pro model

Both the regular iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have an OLED display that matches the performance of last year's iPhone 12 Pro. Brightness rises to 800 nits (from 625 nits in the iPhone 12), and for HDR content, you can expect 1200 nits (as before). These new displays can operate at peak brightness for a longer time due to the improved energy efficiency.

On the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, the standard display brightness reaches 1,000 nits (compared to 800 nits on the iPhone 12 Pro). Like the iPad Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro models also support ProMotion, with variable frame rates between 10 and 120Hz.

  • A15 Chip

Apple says that the A15 is the quickest processor ever placed in a smartphone, although the company does not give specific performance details.

It has a 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency seats, which Apple claims is up to 50% quicker than the competition's fastest smartphone processor. That's not all, though.

The 5-core graphics processor in the Pro versions is up to 50% quicker than any smartphone chip on the market. The basic iPhone 13 models contain a four-core graphics processor.

There is still a 16-core neural engine, but it now performs 15.8 billion operations per second instead of the 11 billion the neural engine in the A14 chip could perform. Apple also mentions faster bandwidth and higher memory throughput, which makes us suspect LPDDR5x RAM is used in the A15.

  • Battery performance enhanced

As Apple does not disclose the actual battery capacity for the iPhone, we have no comparable values until someone performs this test. Apple said during its keynote that all iPhone models have new, larger batteries, and the A15 Bionic is more energy efficient.

Apple claims that iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 Pro achieve an average battery life of 1.5 hours longer than iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro. With an alleged improvement of 2.5 hours, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max perform even better.

  • Having space for storage

In the iPhone 13, each model has 128GB of storage, with 256GB and 512GB also available. For the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, there is also a 1TB option.

The iPhone 12 models started with 64GB, with 128GB and 256GB options available. Apple offered three versions of the iPhone 12 Pro: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
